These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Stronghold Assessment platform ("Platform") operated by Stronghold Assessment ("Stronghold," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
Stronghold provides a multi-step psychometric coaching assessment designed to generate insights for personal development and coaching engagement. The Platform includes assessment delivery, composite scoring, adaptive branching, and report generation for practitioners.
The Stronghold Assessment is a coaching tool and is expressly not a clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic instrument. It does not provide medical diagnoses, psychological evaluations, or clinical assessments. Results are intended to inform coaching conversations and should not be used as a substitute for professional mental health care, clinical treatment, or medical evaluation. If you are a licensed mental health provider using this platform, you are doing so as a coach or consultant — not in your clinical capacity. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line).
The Platform is intended for individuals aged 18 and older. By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. Access is provided through unique access codes issued by authorized Stronghold practitioners.
Stronghold is a coaching platform. Practitioners who use it — regardless of any professional license held outside this platform — are operating in a coaching or consulting capacity, not a clinical one. By using this platform, practitioners agree to:
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to assessment questions, composite scoring methodology, branching algorithms, report templates, AI-generated insights, and the Stronghold name and brand, are the intellectual property of Stronghold Assessment and are protected by copyright, trademark, and trade secret law. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of any Platform content is strictly prohibited.
You retain ownership of your personal data and assessment responses. By using the Platform, you grant Stronghold a limited license to process your data for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including scoring, reporting, and anonymized research to improve the assessment system.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest, row-level database security, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your access code confidential.
The Stronghold Platform uses an AI system called Macy to assist practitioners in preparing coaching plans, generating session briefs, and analyzing assessment data. By completing the Stronghold Assessment, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
The Stronghold Assessment uses automated threshold detection to identify assessment responses that may indicate clinically significant mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, suicidal ideation, substance use, and anger dysregulation. If your responses cross defined thresholds, you will receive an automated notification directing you to licensed clinical resources. This notification is a protective protocol, not a clinical diagnosis. Your practitioner will also be notified. You acknowledge and agree that this automated flagging is a condition of using the Platform.
Stronghold practitioners are bound by applicable mandatory reporting laws. If information disclosed in the coaching relationship reveals a credible threat of harm to you or others, or evidence of child abuse or neglect, your practitioner is legally obligated to report to appropriate authorities regardless of your consent. This obligation supersedes confidentiality.
Stronghold is not a crisis service and cannot provide emergency intervention. If you are in immediate danger, call 911, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), or go to your nearest emergency room. Do not use the Platform to communicate emergency situations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stronghold and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Stronghold's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (or your practitioner on your behalf) for the assessment. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stronghold and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, but your data rights under our Privacy Policy continue.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in the state where Stronghold is headquartered. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class arbitration.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Stronghold is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or via your practitioner. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
